The first month of the new year has quickly passed us by. Hopefully the start of the new year has been productive for you. The Board is busy working on new programs for the year which should be announced soon. If you have any ideas please let us know as we always welcome
your feedback.
Our membership is up to 55 members from 51 members in 2010. 2 of our new members are student members which we have not had any since 2006.
Check out our Member Spotlight featuring Michael Cornale. Michael was a 2011 recipient of a Foundation Scholarship
at World Workplace. (Michael is pictured on the right with Serena Pancoast, President of the Sacramento Valley IFMA Chapter, taken at World Workplace in Phoenix at the Scholarship Awards.) Speaking of scholarships we will soon be looking for to receive
applications for our 2012 scholarship awards. If you know of someone who is interested please have them submit an application which can be
found here on our website.
Facility Fusion is right around the corner this April up the road in Chicago. Send me an email if you plan on going and maybe we can get our CIC members together.
Hopefully the winter weather will have passed us by then and we will still have a surplus of ice melt!
Sincerely,
Mark Wilson CFM CEM
President Central Illinois IFMA
