NIU Pass Rate FMNorthern Illinois University and the International Facility Management Association(IFMA) have partnered to offer courses that help candidates earn the prestigiousFMP® and CFM® credentials. The FMP® Program is comprised of four courses, each offered in a convenient two-day,Friday-Saturday format at NIU Naperville. The CFM® Review course is also offered in a convenient two-day, Friday-Saturdayformat at NIU Naperville.

Operations and Maintenance -      March 16 - March 17  NIU Naperville

NOTE: A $100 discount will be available for Finance and Business, Project Management and Operations and Maintenance if you register at least 14 days prior to start of class.

Northern Illinois will also be introducing the new SFP (Sustainable Facility Professional) and Intro. to FM courses in the spring of 2012. Details about these courses and the winter series will be forthcoming.


Northern Illinois University is a licensed provider of the IFMA FMP, CFM Review, and IFMA Competency Courses. Many professionals are seeking to attain the prestigious FMP and CFM credentials. NIU is strategically poised to help these individuals prepare to earn these certifications.

NIU is one of the nation's first university-led programs to offer the new FMP series courses which begin in February 2011. They will also be offering several of the IFMA Competency courses and the CFM Review program within coming months. Their live review courses are offered in a work friendly format. Classes meet on Fridays and Saturdays and are instructed by a team of experienced CFM instructors.

Chapter members and facility management colleagues are welcome to join NIU for upcoming courses. A complete schedule of their course offerings is available on the NIU website at  www.fm.niu.edu. NIU is currently accepting registrations for all courses. Registration may be completed online or by phoning their Registration Office at (800) 345-9472.

They also offer programs to help candidates prepare to earn the LEED Green Associate and LEED AP accreditations of the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute and the BPI Energy Auditor Certifications awarded by the Building Performance Institute.
